Civil Construction Labourer required for an immediate start with the City of Gold Coast Your new company Hays Specialist Recruitment is currently seeking applications from experienced Civil Labourers to work within the City of Gold Coast Council's Infrastructure Delivery division. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside Australia's second-largest local government and one of our city's largest Organisations. Your new role You will be working with the Civil Construction crew on various projects such as storm water, footbridges, roads, roundabouts and new walkways across the Gold Coast. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to; Laying of storm water pipes Knowledge of grades and gully pit installation Kerb installation levels and setup Concrete installation of footpath, driveways, boxing, install and finishing, grades and levels Assisting with site clean up Heavy lifting on bollards etc What you will need to succeed You will be an experienced civil labourer with exposure to civil works, concreting and pipe laying, particularly storm water pipes. You will hold a high respect for safety standards and quality-assured work. Mandatory requirements for this role are listed below: C Class Licence (MR highly desirable) White Construction Card 6–8 months Civil labouring experience You will be able to provide an up-to-date CV detailing your experience in the industry along with two recent references to back you up.
