The Role We are seeking a Design Coordinator to join our growing Development team, this role will focused on providing support through the development, preparation and maintenance of drawings, schedules and checklists that improve record keeping, benchmark designs, and communication internally and across our network of parks and stakeholders. Responsibilities Include: Preparation of 3D Revit models of standard facilities Preparing and maintaining a register of standard drawings and schedules, and their review and approval status Compile and prepare record set drawings and documentation of our parks Prepare conceptual layout drawings to support internal understanding of a project’s brief, opportunity and risk Assist with the preparation of baseline facility schedules through on-site audits, travelling as required Assist with the review of safety-in-design schedules Assist with the appointment and coordination of consultants to meet project needs Document Management with the compilation of drawings, schedules and specifications at various milestones through design and delivery, including associated checklists About You A background in drafting, architecture, engineering, interior architecture, or an associated qualification A willingness to learn, and be part of a collaborative team A passion for generating coordinated solutions that respond to risks and opportunities An understanding and appreciation of the role of design standards in a large organisation The ability to understand compliance requirements and variability across Australia The ability to actively listen, and track key decisions, actions and outcomes via meeting minutes, registers and drawings An understanding of the Design and Construction process An appreciation of efficiency and effectiveness Demonstrated experience in, AutoDesk Revit (essential), AutoDesk AutoCAD, Microsoft suite of programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Bluebeam Revu, Adobe Photoshop (or similar) Benefits Health and Wellbeing – Flexible and hybrid working arrangements / Employee Assistance Program / Discounted private health cover / BeWell Training Program / Weekly yoga and walking group / Free annual flu vaccinations Paid Leave Benefits – Parental leave / Volunteer leave / Study leave Professional Development – Leadership programs / Support of external training courses / Reimbursement of professional association memberships Employee Savings – Discounted accommodation and experience rates / Salary packaging / Discovery partner discounts/ Free G’day Rewards membership / Loyalty recognition benefits Our ESG statement The G’day Group acknowledges the increasing global expectation to demonstrate our approach to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) risk factors and sustainability in our daily operations and ongoing decision making.
