IPA are looking to fill a number of construction labouring roles in the Rockhampton Region. The successful applicants will be employed with IPA on a labour hire basis. The roles available are full time hours and will be worked either on a 9 day fortnight, or a 10/4 roster. Depending on which project you're working on. There is travel involved in the position as well, so candidates should be willing and able to work away from home. Meals and accommodation will be supplied. An attractive hourly rate allowances is on offer. The successful applicants will have demonstrated labouring experience. The duties will vary depending on the role and may include: Operating hand and power tools Road works Maintenance work including mowing and whipper snipping Rubbish collection Cleaning amenities at rest areas Pipe and culvert repairs - concrete works Repair and replace guide posts Install and repair signs and posts General labouring and other duties as directed We are seeking applicants who have experience working in general labouring roles.Experience specifically within civil earthworks/construction is desirable but not essential to apply. Requirements: Driver licence Construction White Induction Card Willing to undergo pre employment medical including D&A Preferred but not essential: Chemical Handling - AC/DC Chainsaw Ticket Plant/Machinery Tickets Working in Proximity to traffic 1 & 2 There is a physical nature to all our roles, therefore applicants should be fit and able to safely undertake the work which may include working in the sun and a variety of weather conditions (light rain etc), the ability to be on your feet all day, use hand tools, shovel various materials, climb ladders and in and out of vehicles/machines or trenches.Work with our fantastic client in a great team environment.
