Industrial Electricians required in Broadmeadow Workfast are working on behalf of an industry leading tier 1 Engineering business who are based across Australia. They are looking to employ Industrial Electricians on a full time basis for a depot based close to the Newcastle area. On-going project Uniform and PPE About you Must be trade qualified as an electrician Team player with an ability to follow instructions Sound verbal skills Experience in working within the electrical industry on manufacturing and project based environments, preferable within the mining or rail sector Excellent at focusing on fault-finding and problem-solving, with the ability to troubleshoot and rectify problems within industrial electrical equipment Ability to build electrical control panels and be familiar with variable speed drives, contractors, relays and PLC connections. Have basic hand tools and power tools to carry out day to day duties What you will be doing Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial settings, ensuring compliance with safety codes and regulations. Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify electrical issues and implement effective solutions. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
