About the role You will provide professional legal support for our Australian and New Zealand regions, with the opportunity to support our international regions. Manage and lead our Legal team, providing professional and prompt advice on all legal matters and guidance to a range of areas including corporate, financial services, franchising, property, and regulatory matters. Advise and communicate to senior management on our legal obligations and rights so as to protect Cash Converters interests. Assist the business in dealing with litigation and disputes, including reviewing and drafting complaint responses; and Be able to apply legal and regulatory knowledge strategically and pre-emptively to protect and enhance the commercial interests of the business. About you You will hold a Bachelor of Laws or equivalent degree. Have a current West Australian Practicing Certificate. Be registered as a solicitor with 6 to 8 years’ experience within commercial or corporate law. Ideally you will have proven experience in similar role covering corporate, financial services, franchising, property, and regulatory matters; and Be able to apply legal and regulatory knowledge strategically and pre-emptively to protect and enhance the commercial interests of the business.
