Full time ongoing position & maximum term position up to June 2025 available Salary based on experience, range: $59,877 - $75,668 plus super Up to $15,900 in salary packaging and hybrid WFH & office model About the role:Our Geelong office is seeking multiple experienced and motivated Legal Assistants to join their team of professional and support staff. These roles will suit candidates who enjoy the day-to-day challenges of working within a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Administrative Services Manager, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of our client services. You will assist legal aid clients with general enquiries and work with external legal practitioners and community legal centres to ensure the needs of our clients are met. Some of your day-to-day duties will include, but not limited to, word processing, data entry, file management, client coordination and reception services. The roles we have available are: 1x full time, maximum term role up to June 2025 (this role is a parental leave replacement position) 1x full time, ongoing role About you:As our ideal candidate, you will possess: Experience in providing administrative support, ideally within a legal environment, and/or the ability to provide client focused services in a complex, confidential and sensitive environment. Strong organisational, problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to prioritise workloads, meet timelines and work under pressure to ensure efficient and effective delivery of VLA services. Good communication and interpersonal skills. You can connect with people from different backgrounds and cultures and explain complex legal matters so that people can understand and choose their way forward. Ability to effectively work with corporate colleagues, lawyers and barristers and external stakeholders and organisations. Don't meet every requirement?
