We’re seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our Brickworks SA team to ensure the smooth operation of our yard facilities at out Golden Grove Plant in South Australia. Reporting to the Production Manager you will play a crucial role in our operations by handling the safe unloading of the dehacker, storage of products, and loading and unloading trucks and containers. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will contribute to the efficiency and success of our yard operations. Duties include but are not limited to: • Operate twin and single tyne forklifts efficiently and safely. • Perform daily housekeeping tasks to maintain cleanliness and organisation in the yard. • Assist in unloading and removing waste bins to ensure a clean and tidy work environment. • Load and unload trucks and containers with precision and care. • Unload dehacker equipment and store products safely and appropriately. • Ensure pallets are correctly wrapped, labelled, and stored. • Assist in stocktaking activities to maintain accurate inventory records. • Ensure all activities are conducted in a safe manner, compliant with WHSE policies and procedures. Success Requirements • High Risk Licence for forklift operation. • Strong forklift operating skills with a high level of precision and control. • Effective time management abilities. • Ability to work well in a team environment. • Excellent problem-solving and reasoning skills. • Proficient in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. • Valid Australian Drivers License.
