Retail Supervisor - Maroochydore Business Unit: Retail Store or Department: Maroochydore The role: As a Retail Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the store leadership team in overseeing the daily operations of our retail stores and supervising our store teams. In this role, you will lead from the front, providing an exceptional and memorable experience for our customers through your outstanding product knowledge, customer service and ability to offer solutions. You will also work with the Store and Assistant Store Manager to deliver on business objectives and key success indicators. What you'll be doing: Reinforce the customer centric nature of City Beach by providing a superior customer experience for each person who walks through our store. Ensure our stores are open and ready to be shopped by our customers Managing the movement of stock to reduce shrinkage and optimise sales Filing and tidying the shopfloor and getting the store set up for promotions and sales. Work closely with the store leadership team to deliver on performance objectives set for your store with respect to the retail KSIs (Sales, People, Audit & Compliance, Visual Merchandising, Wages). Maintain high standards of store presentation including keeping our shopfloor and stock room neat and tidy. Demonstrate strong product knowledge and be able to research and describe product features and benefits. Recommend, select, and help locate product based on customer needs or desires. Run shifts as required including opening and closing the store premises, cash handling and maintaining store security. Provide effective leadership on days where you are required to run a shift, ensuring that all store team members receive the required feedback, support, and training. Report back to the store leadership team as required. Support the store leadership team by assisting with the execution of assigned tasks in line with business and departmental expectations. What we're looking for: Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a customer-service role. Experience with the operational supervision of a store highly desirable. A strong focus on delivering outstanding customer service. Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task to provide service for multiple customers.
