Located in the heart of Sydney CBD, our client is seeking a well-rounded and motivated individual to join their IT team. Those with an automation focused way of thinking will be preferred as the firm looks to implement more efficient ways of working. As the Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and reliable operation of business infrastructure. Responsibilities: Configure, and maintain servers, hardware, and software systems. Manage user accounts and access to network resources. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide timely resolutions. Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure smooth and efficient system operation. Perform system performance monitoring and tuning to ensure optimal performance. Document and maintain system configurations and procedures. Act as a 2IC to the IT manage and train junior staff. Lead and manage projects. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field At least 3 years of experience as a Systems Administrator Excellent knowledge of server hardware and software systems, including Windows and microsoft environments Experience working with SCCM, PowerShell and Intune Experience with vitalisation and cloud computing technologies Understanding of networking protocols and topologies Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
