Exciting long-term opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to join a long-standing commercial builder. Positive & supportive environment Our Client is a well known award winning commercial builder with an office located in the Carlton North. They have been in operation for over 30 years and have carved out a profitable niche delivering institutional, commercial and retail projects. Due to a retirement, they are now in the need of an enthusiastic and adaptable Payroll Officer to join the team in a part time basis (3 days). Specific duties include; Full end-to-end payroll processing Resolving payroll related payment queries ATO compliance (Payroll Tax, Superannuation, PAYG etc) Interpretation of Awards, EBA's employment contracts Monthly deduction listings & payments Payroll accounting reconciliation to ensure all unreconciled items/payment/loans are cleared Process transactions in relation to superannuation, deductions and provide relevant information to external parties in a timely, accurate and efficient manner Understanding and actioning manual payroll calculations and terminations Setup and maintenance of payroll records including new starters, employee changes and terminations Assisting in payroll projects as required Using Jobpac Payroll software To be considered for the role a minimum of 2 years payroll experience will be required. More important is the right attitude and culture fit They have a really stable & positive office-based team, who are all long-serving employees, so finding someone that slots in seamlessly is of the highest importance. Salary will be flexible depending on previous experience and qualifications with a range of $75,000 - $85,000 super pro-rata. A potential of 3,4, or even 5 days per week could be considered as well as flexible start and finish times.
