Where you'll be working Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital What you'll be doing As a permanent part time Social Worker (two days/week), you will provide clinical interventions to inpatients and their families. There will be opportunity to rotate through different wards including medical, surgical and critical care.    People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply. Candidates will need to meet the following criteria : Social Work degree and eligibility for the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), including the ability to demonstrate a practical application of the AASW Code of Ethics. Demonstrated well developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrate skills and knowledge in the provision of service to consumers, carers and families requiring assessment, counselling, crisis management, case management, advocacy, intervention, appropriate referral and discharge planning.
