The Role Programmed Industrial Maintenance is currently seeking experienced and qualified Electricians to join our client in Port Melbourne. Successful applicants will have previous maintenance experience within light and heavy manufacturing industries and display a strong work ethic with a demonstrated commitment to safety. Key Responsibilities Attend to breakdowns and repairs. Ability to solve complex problems, think outside the box and a drive for solution. Knowledge sharing and assisting in upskilling operators to minimize breakdowns. As part of the engineering team install and commission new equipment with a focus on ensuring the equipment consistently performs to the required function. Ensure all machine settings are operationally correct and are set in accordance with supporting documentation. Carry out preventative, planned corrective and reactive maintenance Condition based maintenance and reliability-based maintenance inspections Carry out repairs on faulty equipment and improve the reliability of the equipment. Diagnose and repair electrical faults on equipment. Skills, Experience and Attributes The ideal candidate will possess the following; Australian Recognized Electrical Trade Certificate Hold a current A Grade Electrical license & drivers’ license Strong knowledge of VSD, soft starters and motor control troubleshooting Experience in set up and fault finding of instrumentation, such as RDT & pressure transmitters and valves High risk qualifications - Forklift, Elevated Work Platform First Aid, CPR & LV Rescue Training Experience working with CMMS systems and reports.
