Join us and be a part of DSV’s global family. DSV Air & Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Warehouse Operator in Forrestfield, Perth. The Warehouse Operator plays an integral part in the logistic supply chain, ensuring customers goods are picked and packed as required and that all associated paperwork is completed as per procedures. You are required to work independently and have a high focus on the administration side of the role. Your typical day at DSV: Enter and update information in multiple warehouse management systems Use of scanning equipment and labelling of cargo accurately Manifesting of cargo for both sea freight and air freight shipments, strong attention to detail is required Maintain warehouse cleanliness and conduct daily safety checks Report any spillages, damaged or suspicious goods Report all incidents/accidents/near misses without delay Maintain 100% accuracy when picking stock, and performing stock takes and cycle counts Operate forklift in safe manner Interpret information contained on picking slip to locate stock and pick to fulfill customer orders Unloading/loading of vehicles (either using forklift, lifting aides or manual handling) and movement of goods in and out of the warehouse DIM and weigh goods and record information Determine safe method and equipment to handle goods About You: - Experience in a similar position with reach forklift license and experience Experience handling dangerous goods is preferred Experience with Warehouse Management Software, SAP and Cargowise is highly desirable Why DSV?
