The site The Cleanaway Laverton Material Recovery Facility (MRF) is part of Cleanaway’s Victoria Commingled Resource Recovery (VCRR) network of assets. The facility receives, sorts and processes commercial and municipal recycling from areas around Coolaroo to be given a new lease on life. Your new role We have an opportunity for an experienced Electrician to join Cleanaway’s Recycling Facilities. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you will be an integral part of a maintenance team. You will be responsible for the following: Day to day preventative and corrective maintenance of the plant Maintenance and safety checks on all equipment Troubleshooting process Recording of site maintenance documentation electronically Ordering and stocktaking of electrical spares Managing electrical contractors to undertake major installations or repairs Coordinate and work with maintenance to ensure plant uptime targets are achieved Skills and experience Victoria Electricians license Some PLC’s and SCADA systems knowledge preferrable This is a high-risk environment so a commitment to safety is a must Benefits Competitive hourly rate Overtime/Penalty Rates paid for weekends and Public Holidays.
