Your Opportunity We are seeking applications from experienced High Voltage Electricians for construction and commissioning works on Oil and Gas HV distribution systems for our APLNG Project. These positions will be offered on a 18/10 BIBO roster. Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, you will be working on the following: HV and Fibre Optic cable installation using cable trailers tractor combinations. HV cable testing including VLF Testing and Commissioning of HV transformers, HV switchgear 3.3kV to 33kV (Schneider Electric and ABB) Ensuring all HV distribution system quality documentation is completed on the Clients electronic construction and completions systems (CCMS) including, FICs, ITRs, As-builts reports and punch lists. Our minimum requirements for this role are: An understanding and demonstrated commitment to OH&S, risk management and hazard identification. QLD Electrical trade qualification (essential) LV rescue and CPR training within the last 12months (essential) 2 years post trade experience on a large-scale Oil & Gas or Civil Electrical Construction projects High Voltage Cable Installation and testing, Transformer and RMU testing Current QLD Driver's license Applicants with the following will be highly regarded: Experience and qualifications in HV Switching (HVIA) Certificate III in ESI - Cable Jointing SICAME & NEXANS encapsulated buried Joints up to 33kV RAYCHEM, SICAME & NEXANS Terminations up to 33kV Hazardous Areas EEHA HR Driver License What we offer: CPB Contractors is an equal opportunity employer, committed to workplace diversity and to providing flexible work opportunities at our offices and projects.
