HumeLink West Project Two CIMIC Group companies, UGL and CPB Contractors have been selected by Transgrid to deliver the 130km western section of the HumeLink high voltage electricity transmission project. HumeLink is a new 500kV transmission project which will connect Wagga Wagga, Maragle and Bannaby in regional NSW that will significantly increase the capacity of the electricity network in Australia's eastern states. HumeLink is one of Australia's largest energy infrastructure projects, with about 365kms of proposed new transmission lines and a range of other new and upgraded infrastructure. The HumeLink West scope of works, worth $1.4bn, includes delivery of new 500kV double circuit transmission lines spanning 130kms from Wagga Wagga Substation to a new Substation at Gugaa, the Interface Point with HumeLink East near Gundagai and a new substation at Maragle in the Snowy Mountains for future connection to Snowy 2.0. The opportunity We are looking for an experienced Administrator to provide efficient generalist administrative support to our Construction team. This is an engaging and dynamic role, ideal for an administrative professional with a keen interest in the construction industry. Please note this role will be based in Sydney (CBD) for the duration of the project supporting the HumeLink West delivery team. Key Accountabilities General administrative duties including filing, taking meeting minutes, record keeping, managing email correspondence Assist with preparing, formatting and collating reports, publications and presentations Data entry and assistance with document control Invoicing and raising purchase orders for the team Ad hoc administrative tasks as required Liaise with the Construction team and the wider business to meet project objectives in line with role requirements About You To be successful in this role the candidate will have the following skills, experience and demonstrate the below competencies: Previous experience in an administrative capacity, with a keen interest to work within the construction industry Highly organised and able to multi-task quality and timely deliverance of administrative duties Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work in a dynamic team environment that provides ad-hoc challenges Tech savvy and experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word This position requires a self-starter, team player and someone who thrives on a fast paced and varied role. Your technical ability will be supported by your excellent work ethic, commitment to safety and proven ability to build strong working relationships. The successful candidate will be required to hold a current Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card or equivalent) and undergo a medical assessment (including drug and alcohol testing) prior to commencement.
