The opportunity: Visy is a market leader in plastics packaging manufacturing in Australasia offering a range of plastic packaging solutions across a range of industries. We currently have an opportunity for a hands-on and experienced Warehouse Manager to lead and manage the logistics and warehouse activities of the plastics manufacturing operations. This involves the management of employee’s, space utilisation, systems, tools, and materials. Reporting to the Plant Manager, key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Drive a safe working culture and ensure that all Occupation, Health & Safety and Environment practices and procedures are adhered to. Develop, coach and mentor the warehouse team to ensure the function is robust and performance is met. Lead the business warehousing function to ensure internal and external customer DIFOT targets are met. Warehouse document control - maintain accurate control of stock movements, deliveries, and invoicing. Ensure all mobile plant and warehouse equipment is maintained and serviced. Manage the warehousing activities of storage, inventory, and product movement. Conduct regular stock management activities including cycle counts and stocktakes. Liaise with customers, suppliers, and transport companies. What you will bring to the team: Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices. Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
