About this role We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Legal Advisor to join one of our offices based in either Brisbane , Sydney or Melbourne. As a Legal Advisor, you will provide contractual and commercial support whilst also participating in the development of legal resources for the Australasian region. You will also be required to use your already established skills & experience to perform in-depth legal research and provide varied legal advice to our legal teams & key clients. With access to a global community of professionals, you will collaborate with and learn from other minds. What will I do? Providing an interface between the Regional Legal Team and the broader office community (regionally). Participation in (including provision of) legal training and development opportunities in region. Support commercial management of high-risk projects for negotiation of contract and ongoing contractual requirements (variations, program changes and contract notices). Assistance in claims management, in conjunction with the Australasian Claims & Disputes lead lawyer. Participation in Australasia Regional Legal Team activities and tasks – team meetings, development. What will I bring? 2-4 years PQE experience In-depth knowledge of construction law and the construction industry Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proactively acts as a positive influence in the business to achieve sensible and commercial contract outcomes.
