DIRECTORATE: Business, Growth & Community CLASSIFICATION: Grade 9 SALARY: $66,194 to $72,813 pa 11% employer contribution to superannuation REPORTING TO: Youth Development Officer EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Temporary Full Time - up to 12 months THE POSITION: To work with young people and other service providers to develop and coordinate programs for participants and to develop a range of programs and services that meets the aims of the Youth Cafe which are to create: A safe accessible place for young people. A place to foster youth culture, access to the arts and entertainment. A place to build resilience in young people. The Cafe project evolved from a direct request from local young people in Albury and Wodonga. The main aim of this unique service is to be inclusive of all young people 12 - 24 without targeting any particular group. AlburyCity's Youth Team aims to nurture and foster the social and cultural development of young people through music, events, activities, workshops, support groups and links with other Council and community services.
