About the Opportunity: We are looking for the industry’s best Bar Supervisor to join our team to deliver a best-in-class experience for both our guests and crew. You will ensure a high standard of service and bar operations. Main Role Responsibilities: Ensure the delivery of exceptional guest service at all times during service periods Ensure adequate glassware & equipment are maintained at all times Ensure bar areas are clean and presentable at all times Responsible for the delivery of service related to Training and Development programs, including induction plans, buddy shifts, and any other service related training Address & resolve any bar-related issues and escalate to management as required Complete opening and/or closing duties as assigned, and ensure readiness of crew, equipment, stock, stations and floor for service Experience, Skills & Attributes: Experience as a Bar Supervisor or Head Bartender in a fast-paced venue Strong knowledge in cocktails, beer and spirits Experience with ordering and stocktake is advantageous Exceptional service skills and guest focused Adaptable and able to perform in high-pressured service periods Organisational and time management skills Exceptional communication and presentation Available and willing to work weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shifts Must possess a valid RSA certificate About Yakimono: A creative tribute to the corruptible side of Japanese cuisine, Yakimono is an exuberant inner-urban Japanese eating house in the heart of the CBD.
