Role Overview As the Customer Service Officer, you will be reporting to the Customer Service Manager. You will be responsible for all first point of contact queries and managing queries with their varied customer base. A typical day for the Customer Service Officer will see you providing an exceptional level of customer service via phone, live chat, walk in's and email for their customer base, whilst liaising with internal and external stakeholders of the business. This role will give you the opportunity to build critical long-lasting business relationships whilst being a brand ambassador for this business. To be successful in this role, you must be passionate about customer service and genuinely helping others that promotes connections with people and sustainability. Responsibilities Exceptional service to customers nationally and face-to-face. Fulfil customer expectations and follow through with queries. Accurate order entry of customers orders either via phone or email, live chat etc. Changes to Customer Accounts as required. Complete New Account Set Up in appropriate systems Ability to take initiative and be proactive within a busy environment Strong problem resolution in managing customer issues Proven experience working with a CRM/ ERP system, preferably SAP. Ensuring the reception, and meeting rooms are always presented professionally and neatly, ready for visitors. Assist in monitoring slow moving products on the online catalogue and make relevant recommendations. Assist in uploading products and creation of skus for the online catalogue. Candidate Profile You have or are currently working in a similar Customer Service role and have for the past 2-3 years. You have impeccable communication skills both written and verbal and your work is of the highest standard. You use your initiative to continually seek answers and follow up with key stakeholders regarding information required to manage customer queries. Your collaborative, transparent and your team-focused attitude will see you excel in this role. You are professional, maintain a polite phone manner and have the confidence to liaise with all levels across the business and had the ability to multi-task. To be successful in this role, you must have used a large ERP system, preferably SAP and has a passion to help others.
