You will play a key role as a member of the Teaching Support Team assisting with the implementation and evaluation of learning, teaching, and assessment programs for student coursework. This is a highly collaborative role where you will work closely with the Deputy Dean (Academic), the Associate Head (Education), and Course Convenors to support the design and development of undergraduate and postgraduate programs and courses. This role reports to a School Manager, supporting the TSA Team Lead and has no direct reports. Highly developed organisational skills including the ability to prioritise, conduct complex tasks and projects and meet competing deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Demonstrated high-level experience working with a range of computer systems and applications, including Microsoft Office. Experience using a student management system would be highly regarded. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders. Excellent time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to respond to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines by using judgement and initiative. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and productively within a team, but also to take initiative and work independently while managing competing demands. An understanding of and commitment to UNSW’s aims, objectives and values in action, together with relevant policies and guidelines. Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training. Level 6 (in addition to above) Significant relevant experience in a similar role in a tertiary organisation. Experience providing a broad range of teaching administration support and advice to Academic staff. Demonstrated ability to apply, interpret, advise on and contribute to the development of policies, systems, manuals, rules, procedures and guidelines.
