About The Role Ventia have been engaged by the DJCS (Department of Justice and Community Safety) to provide integrated Facility Management services incorporating planned, preventive, and reactive maintenance services, ad hoc services, and soft services including cleaning, ground, pest, and waste streams. The Electrician will play a key role in the team and operate across the Barwon Precinct (Lara, VIC region) of facilities for planned, reactive, remedial and ad-hoc maintenance activities across the sites. We are also seeking Trade Assistants, Plumbers, HVAC technicians, Carpenters and Painters to support these facilities. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Participate in a multiskilled team for delivery of high quality facility management and maintenance services Complete planned maintenance activities across electrical systems associated with large facilities Identify and rectify equipment and electrical systems faults in a time critical environment Perform skilled work in the management, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment Ability to fault find general building electrical systems and installations found within large commercial infrastructure ie: Solar, Boilers, Chillers, multistage pressure pumps systems, sewerage pump stations, HVAC, motor control systems Work order management for all works completed within required timeframes High standards across compliance and driving safety, health, environment, and quality in your work About You: You will have trade qualifications and experience as an Electrician working in a time critical environment with a focus on planned and reactive maintenance. You will also possess: Demonstrated experience in time critical rectification and reporting Capability in maintaining scheduled work plans Excellent stakeholder engagement skills High standards across compliance and driving safety, health, environment, and quality in your work A current unrestricted drivers' licence Be able to complete and pass a National Police Check and Medical Be able to provide evidence of full covid vaccinations Nice to have: Experience with Fire systems - FIP and EWIS EWP - Scissor and boom lift licence Working at Height Diversity We acknowledge the importance of our people's diverse experiences, talents and cultures.
