About us: The story of Toby's Estate began in 1997, in the grungy streets of Woolloomooloo, armed with Mum’s garage, a beat-up coffee roaster and passion on tap, we set out on a wild adventure of business and coffee discovery. Not concerned with the frills of it all, but just that we were consistently consistent in roasting the tastiest coffee we could and treating all the people in our world like family. What’s on offer? An opportunity to be our first ever Flagship Manager for our new cafe in Newstead. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving the expansion of our café presence and transforming it into a local hotspot. You'll act as a brand ambassador, will drive our systems and your team to create exceptional coffee experiences. Your leadership will be essential in establishing the cafe. Your ability to inspire and motivate others, along with your hands-on approach for results, will drive this vision forward. Our commitment to your growth includes career development, coffee, and a focus on your wellbeing, offering "recharge leave" which is five additional days annually to recharge in your preferred way. Our cafe is on track for an opening date of mid-April. We’re keen to have the right person hired and starting the onboarding journey as soon as possible. About the role: You’ll be responsible for the seamless operation of every aspect, from food and coffee stations to customer experience, your style will drive a proactive and motivated team. You’ll handle operational issues and direct sales inquiries efficiently. Encouraging the growth of your team, you oversee their development and facilitate/lead team meetings. Nurturing your team's growth, you monitor their performance and lead team meetings. Alongside this you ensure safety is our top priority, and your proactive involvement in our safety protocols, incident reporting, and commitment to health and safety is crucial.
