An exciting opportunity is available for a Nurse Educator to join the Education & Training Service on a permanent full time basis. The Nurse Educator for Community Health Care will be responsible for the design, development, coordination, delivery, evaluation and accreditation of education related to clinical practice in Community Health Care and associated development strategies within NBMLHD.   The incumbent will ensure that educational and other strategies reflect clinical evidenced based best practice, are aligned with agreed Organisational and Service goals and measure Organisational return on investment (ROI). This will be achieved by establishing robust educational partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders including managers, clinicians, education staff, education providers, HETI, the CEC and relevant professional Organisations. The incumbent will represent Community Health Care and ETS on relevant committees and provide reports to inform achievement of key educational objectives as required. They will advocate across NBMLHD for clinical education initiatives and proactively respond to emerging learning needs related to Community Health Care. Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.   Selection Criteria to be Addressed : Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency Relevant post graduate qualification in clinical area and/or education Demonstrated recent clinical experience in Community Health Care environments Proven experience in the development, delivery and evaluation of clinical education programs within a large, diverse organisation Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work in a consultative manner and to Demonstrated capacity to work effectively in a team environment Ability to effectively manage projects in a timely manner Current Drivers Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
