Working in a new, technologically advanced facility, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of children from zero to six years old in our state of the art education rooms. We have a number of outdoor spaces set across a large, nature focused area within the grounds of Liverpool Hospital. We have regular visits from our resident Possums and Blue Tongue Lizards and the children in our care love being able to experience the natural elements of our centre.  The purpose built facility has an above requirement Educator to Child ratio with a highly experienced team. You will have the option to work across a number of rooms within the centre and will have access to the latest programming technology. There are numerous training opportunities available and you will have access to the ‘My Health Learning’ portal which has endless training courses available. What you'll be doing To provide quality education and care to children and families. To recognise the needs of the children and provide all children with a stimulating and nurturing environment. Where you'll be working Liverpool Hospital, founded in 1813, is the major health service for south-western Sydney, providing services to the local government area of Liverpool City Council as well as district services to residents and visitors in the area. It also provides a range of state-wide services in areas such as critical care and trauma, neonatal intensive care and brain injury rehabilitation. The Hospital provides a health service of international standing, with 23 operating theatres, capacity for 877 beds, diagnostic and imaging services, emergency and trauma care, maternity, paediatric, cancer care, mental health, ambulatory care, allied health and medical and surgical services from birth to aged care. Liverpool Hospital is currently undergoing a major redevelopment. The $790 million Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct (LHAP) project will provide enhanced facilities and an increased capacity to meet future significant population growth for South Western Sydney. Liverpool Hospital is a principal referral and teaching Hospital of the University of NSW and the Western Sydney University and also welcome students from over 20 universities and colleges. Demonstrated extensive experience working with Children 0-5 years in a long day care setting. Holds a Diploma in Children’s Services or Certificate III in Children’s Services. Current First aid Certificate-HLTAID004 in Education and care setting. 004 certificate includes: Managing Asthma and Anaphylaxis in Early Childhood. Current Child Protection Certificate Identifying and responding to children and Young people at Risk and Harm CHCPERT001, CHCCHILD1C and 401A.
