Your Role As a Call Centre Operator, you will play a key role as you will be the point of contact for members of the public making donations, general enquiries and seeking assistance. This role is full-time maximum term 12-month contract based in Auburn 2144. The ideal candidate will have customer service and administrative skills as well as the ability to work & communicate effectively in a diverse team. Using your strong interpersonal skills, you will be able to provide outstanding service for our donors and customers. You will be joining a supportive and inclusive work environment where you can contribute meaningfully to the community and make a real difference to people's lives. Your Responsibility • Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner. • Identify customers’ and donor's needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives. • Clear voice mail messages on a regular basis. • Contribute to the successful implementation of the Strategic Plan within their team. • Organise pick-ups and donations from donors. • Assist with administrative tasks as required. • Contribute to a safe working environment for members, staff and volunteers by implementing the Society’s workplace health and safety practices. • Contribute to the effective risk management protocols and procedures are in place to ensure compliance with legal, employment and governance requirements.You Will Need • Previous call centre experience. • Demonstrated experience in office procedures. • Good Interpersonal and organisational skills, including the capacity to manage inbound and outbound calls and meet strict timelines. • Good written and oral communication skills, including a demonstrated capacity to communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds. • Good listening skills. • Typing skills with a high level of accuracy. • Demonstrated skills in MS Office programs. • Willingness to upskill and be trained as required.Apply Now If this sounds like you, don’t wait - apply now, we are interviewing applications as we receive them.
