An exciting opportunity is available for an Admin Officer to join the Perinatal Ultrasound Department on a temporary contract.  In this role you will provide an efficient reception area for all patients/clients presenting to Perinatal Ultrasound Department and undertake all duties required. You will also provide an efficient, courteous customer service and clerical support to the Department, clinical team, patients, relatives and hospital visitors, including maintaining patient’s medical records in good order, maintaining computerised booking appointment system, general reception, clerical duties, data entry and online Medicare billing. You will be required to communicate with the Director, PNU regarding issues as they arise in relation to staff, delays, patient complaints and general information affecting the running of the PNU Department and m aintain good public relations with all facility staff, patients, clients and visitors at all times. You will also complete other duties as directed by the Director, Perinatal Ultrasound Department, li aise with key stakeholders and other areas within Nepean Hospital and Sydney West Area Health Service as required including NUMs, midwives, RMO’s VMO’s medical, nursing and allied health staff, patient transport services, wardspersons, general practitioners and community organisations to ensure continuity of patient care. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
