The NDIS Partners in the Community Program (PITC) supports the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) to be implemented at a local level. As an NDIA partner, Northcott will deliver the NDIS Early Childhood Approach (ECA) service to local communities in Northern NSW, Mid North Coast, Hunter New England, North Sydney and Western Sydney. The EC approach supports the activities that will improve the independence and social participation of children aged 0-9 years with developmental delay and/or disability. What does this role look like daily? You will engage with a child and their family at several key points. Each day will have different and often competing challenges for you to assess and demonstrate knowledge around, including but not limited to the following: Manage Reception area/front office, including ordering office stationary/supplies for the team Effectively manage and record feedback, complaints and suggestions from stakeholders in a timely and professional manner Administer the EC enquiry and intake process for the region and other regions as required using the NDIS IT System. Working with other EC Administration Officers to ensure the highest quality service delivery to all families and stakeholders. Ensure a flexible approach to workloads and ad hoc tasks as designated The skills and experience we are looking for include: Understanding the importance of implementing a tailored and personalised approach to children and their families - one size does not fit all. Excellent interpersonal communications Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration or evidence of actively working towards completion. Demonstrated previous professional experience in an administration role Demonstrated experience using the full Microsoft Office Suite as well as customer database systems Other requirements include: Current Driver's Licence - P1 minimum Valid Working with Children’s Check Clearance - mandatory Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDIS WC) or willingness to obtain – mandatory Working Rights in Australia for Full-Time Employment Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (including minimum 1 x booster) in accordance with current Northcott Requirements (unless granted an exemption).
