The Project The CPB Contractors, Ghella & UGL joint venture has been successful in securing the contract to deliver the $3.1bn M6 Stage 1 project. The project will deliver the missing link from Sydney's south to the wider Sydney motorway network making journeys easier, faster and safer. It will remove more than 2,000 trucks a day from surface roads and help return local streets to local communities. With works commenced in early 2022, the M6 Stage 1 project scope includes the construction of twin four-kilometre tunnels and associated works, linking the M8 Motorway at Arncliffe to President Avenue at Kogarah. The Opportunity CGU JV is seeking applications for a Training & Inductions Administrator to join the M6 Stage 1 project HR team. This role will report to the Training Manager. Based in Arncliffe, with travel to our Training Academy in Homebush and to site locations along the Project alignment, key responsibilities will include the following: Administer the project induction process for new employees and sub-contractors including managing bookings, verifying / maintaining records and coordinating logistics for at least 4 induction sessions per week Assist with the coordination of training activities for new and existing employees efficiently and in a cost-effective manner Manage costing and financial administration processes for training and induction activities Maintain the Workforce Management System (Damstra) to ensure records are up to date and accurate Assist with maintaining Training Matrix and Training Needs Analysis Support reporting on workforce development, induction and training outcomes to comply with project, client and legislative requirements. About You The ideal candidate will have; Availability to start work from 6:30am Monday to Friday Excellent communication skills (listening, written, and verbal) Strong attention to detail, people skills and service orientation Initiative and problem-solving ability Experience in maintaining accurate data records Sound knowledge of National Training and Competency Frameworks is desirable Advanced to Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Experience in using workforce management and learning management systems Ability to multi-task, prioritise and operate in a fast-paced environment. Construction Industry Induction (White Card) A certificate IV in Training and Assessment is also highly desirable. Australian Driver's Licence and own transport The successful candidate will be required to hold a current Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card or equivalent) and undergo a medical assessment (including drug and alcohol testing) prior to commencement.
