Administration Officer - Darwin Make a difference at one of Australia’s leading health care providers Generous salary packaging benefits, ongoing professional development and supportive team environment Work Mon to Fri in Darwin Office About the role We are looking for an enthusiastic administrator to join our diverse, compassionate and dedicated team to provide effective and efficient administrative support and customer service in a busy health care setting. Our Administration Officer plays a key role in liaising with staff, clients and their families and ensuring the delivery of exemplary customer service. To assist with answering calls, process invoices via F1 platform, action debtor queries within specified timelines. Key Responsibilities To process area invoices every day so it gets processed on time. To be responsible for organising service centre meeting each month To assist client services officers and coordinators as required, especially with roster changes and notification of changes to clients. To assist with employee administration tasks such as sending Support Worker birthday letters, review follow up. To be responsible for mail collection and distribution within service centre if required. To understand and implement the organisation’s policies and procedures, including WHS practices in relation to self and other employees. To maintain confidentiality of all client and Support Worker information. To undertake other administrative duties as required. What you bring Experience and/or qualifications in the aged/disability or community sector and/or people management expertise in like field; Must have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in administration/office management and the ability to work cohesively as a team member Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Experience in rostering and processing timesheets according to employees contracts. Mentoring skills including experience in motivating, developing and directing people in their role whilst supporting productive working relationships Demonstrated ability to use computers, especially emails, word processing, and the ability to become proficient in the GoldCare software. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively on all levels, especially on the telephone and in written communications.
