The Project The CPB Contractors, Ghella & UGL joint venture has been successful in securing the contract to deliver the $3.1bn M6 Stage 1 project. The project will deliver the missing link from Sydney's south to the wider Sydney motorway network making journeys easier, faster and safer. It will remove more than 2,000 trucks a day from surface roads and help return local streets to local communities. With works commenced in early 2022, the M6 Stage 1 project scope includes the construction of twin four-kilometre tunnels and associated works, linking the M8 Motorway at Arncliffe to President Avenue at Kogarah. The Opportunity We are looking for a Safety Administrator who will be based at our Project Office in Arncliffe, Sydney to provide effective administration support to the Health & Safety Team and to contribute to the successful and safe delivery of the Project. Key Accountabilities include: Demonstrate a personal commitment to Safety awareness on the Project Management of site-based systems & platforms Management of site-based incident management system Prepare and update all Project Safety Plans and Registers Ensure all Safety reporting is prepared and submitted in a timely manner Process requisitions and purchase orders Liaise with Subcontractors on Site ensuring that they are compliant in safety systems Maintain a high visibility across the workplace building relationships with internal and external stakeholders About You High School certification Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety desirable but not essential Proficient in Microsoft Office Strong level of written and verbal communication Strong client focus and relationship management Demonstrate a high attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines whilst managing conflicting priorities in a high-volume work environment The successful candidate will be required to hold a current Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card or equivalent) and undergo a medical assessment (including drug and alcohol testing) prior to commencement.
