We are looking for a Retail Supervisor to oversee the running of our on-campus and off-campus retail stores. Alinta Apparel is a school and sportswear brand with offices in Sydney, Adelaide and Christchurch. Due to a recent period of growth, we are appointing a Retail Supervisor to oversee the running of our on-campus and off-campus retail stores located in Findon, Adelaide and surrounding suburbs. Learning the business from the ground up, the successful candidate has an exciting opportunity to forge a career in our niche field of School Uniform Shop Management and Sporting Organisation Apparel Solutions. This position is a part time or full-time for the right candidate. You will be expected to work autonomously as well as part of a larger team, supporting and developing our team of retail assistants in our stores. We are looking for a bright, energetic learner who has one eye always on the big picture, and the other on the detail of the day-to-day. While experience in the apparel industry is not necessary to apply for this role, previous experience in a customer service or sales role is essential. What we’re looking for: Competency with POS System Strong retail background Commitment and willingness to go ‘the extra mile’ for our staff and customers An exceptionally friendly and engaging personality A high level of written and oral communication skills A professional mindset and flexibility Exceptional organisational and time management skills to meet deadlines The ability to work autonomously and within a team The ability to develop and maintain long term relationships with stakeholders The ability to problem solve and be a team player A high level of store pride, with particular attention to detail on store cleanliness and presentation Responsibilities will include: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of our stores Staff Rosters Customer Service including shop sales as required Daily Management of stock levels with Head Office support Assist Head Office with training and support of Retail sales staff Liaise with key stakeholders within our schools to present and sign off samples Manage shop cleanliness and presentation within our stores Implement and follow Alinta policies and procedures Staff onboarding with Head Office support Due to the nature of this position and the industry, the successful candidate will need to be available from around 12 January each year and where required during each school holiday period to facilitate peak times. You will also need to hold (or be willing to obtain) a Working with Children Check and Drivers Licence.
