About the role We are seeking experienced Mining Truck Operators to join Pembroke Resource’s new autonomous project in the Bowen Basin - the Olive Downs Complex. Pembroke Resource’s Olive Downs Complex is a greenfield project located 40 kilometres south-east of Moranbah which commenced mining operations in mid-2023. Thiess has been awarded a five-year contract to deliver full service mining operations, including mine planning overburden removal, drill and blast, load and haul (Autonomous), water management and rehabilitation as well as construction of the mine infrastructure. About you At least 24-months of mining experience as mining production operator Equivalent to or specific experience operating Caterpillar 777 & 793 trucks is essential. Experience in open cut coal mining Verified machinery skills list (training transcripts), signed by SSE. Current drivers licence Relevant coal mining certifications - Current Standard 11 A genuine interest in building a career with Thiess.
