About the role We’re looking for a Diploma qualified Language Teacher (Educator) responsible for developing and delivering a language program that is reflective of the DET Early Childhood Language Program (ECLP) guidelines and aligns with Gowrie Victoria’s purpose, philosophy, values and consistent with approved early learning frameworks. Key responsibilities include: Develop an ECLP that actively uses play to expose children to the language. Source or develop appropriate resources to support the ECLP such as songs, books, props, games and cultural experiences. Seek feedback from children on their learning experiences with the ECLP and ensure the program reflects children’s views. Work as an Educator for 7 hours per week, building collaborative relationships with children and colleagues. About you We’re looking for a qualified Educator with a sound understanding of the NQF and approved early learning frameworks. You will have experience in implementing inclusive, strength-based programs in a collaborative team environment. Successful completion of a Language Proficiency Assessment is required.
