With a focus on growing and developing our own team and a commitment to promoting from within, we offer long-term career opportunities.About the Role: The Delivery Driver is responsible for the efficient transportation of goods to external customers and maintaining a high level of customer service when interacting with customers.As well as complying with established policies and procedures and act as an ambassador of the dealership and HONDA amongst the wider community.Delivery Driver duties include:· Ensures that acknowledgement of delivery (via signature) is obtained from customers upon receipt of stock· Ensures goods are paid for upon delivery and collecting payment if required.· Adheres to efficient administration process through keeping accurate records of parts transported· Maintains efficient schedules and timelines through the delivery process· Ensures that efficient and accurate transportation operations are maintained at all times.· Maintains regular contact with the Warehouse Manager throughout the delivery process· Willing and able to follow directions such as being dispatched to a new location on an ad-hoc basis· Provides excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders· Presents a professional image to customersSkills & Knowledge / Experience / Attributes:· Ability to drive a variety of vehicle types· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with strong attention to detail· Good communication skills· Honesty, reliability and trustworthiness· Ability to work autonomously· Commitment to delivering a level of service that exceeds internal customer expectations· Ability to work in a pressurised work environment and challenging timelines· Commitment to represent the company and brands in a positive manner The successful delivery driver will be operating in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. This delivery area extends from Wallan to South Melbourne and Eltham to Tullamarine.
