Responsibilities include maintaining product quality, achieving production targets and maintaining a high standard of GMP. Main duties of the position: Manufacturing high quality product through adherence to standards and preserving Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Operating and meticulously cleaning, inspecting and caring for production equipment Achieving production plans and objectives on a daily basis including coordinating planned product changes Continuous improvement, root cause analysis and problem solving in manufacturing and packaging processes Achieving all of the above whilst adhering to safety, quality and environmental standards; and demonstrating exemplary behaviours in all areas Other duties as required by the Line Manager The following qualities are considered desirable for this role: Pride in your work and demonstrated diligence Demonstrated strong attention to detail and meticulousness when it comes to quality, cleanliness and processes Proven basic mathematical and mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving skills Proven time management skills and proactivity, especially when managing competing interests Demonstrated ability to work cohesively and unsupervised in a high performing team environment A continuous improvement mindset, and willingness to learn and share knowledge Strong verbal and written communication skills with various audiences The initiative and courage to speak out when correction is required Demonstrated ability to carry out safe manual handling as required Computer literacy (i.e. Outlook, Word and Excel) Previous experience in a pharmaceutical or chocolate and/or food manufacturing environment is desirable We can offer you: Positive and collaborative work culture We have canteen facilities onsite and supply tools and uniforms.
