Your New Role As the Process Design Lead, you will build and lead a team of process analysts to help design and document future state processes related to program delivery. It is intended that this role will eventually be the owner of ongoing process management across the operations teams upon completion of the program. The role of the Process Design Lead primarily exists to: Help the business streams design and document future state processes. Capture regulatory obligations within processes and integrating operational controls within the processes. Collaborate with the Fund's newly established Continuous Improvement team to build and iterate process frameworks, delivering operational/business excellence and ensuring consistency across all BAU and program deliverables. Collaborate with Business Architects to ensure the Business Architecture is maintained and up to date, with respect to processes. Ensure usability of outputs across various stakeholder groups such as Risk and Knowledge Management and operational/service teams. Translate member journeys into every processes for the BAU teams. Key duties include but are not limited to: Ensure business processes are captured and traced across the relevant domains and connected service providers and functions for the program. Collaborate with the Continuous Improvement team to embed operational excellence and further build out and operationalise the CI Frameworks and process standards. Ensure the Member Operations, Member Experience and other internal teams are transition ready. Hire and develop a high performing, diverse and engaged team who will support the successful delivery of the Fund's strategic ambitions, and are innovative, resilient and equipped to deal with ambiguity. Drive a strong service and excellence-oriented culture with accompanying KPIs, within the function. Develop and lead a partnering model in collaboration with Operations, Member Experience and Continuous Improvement teams to enable innovative, flexible, effective and best value delivery. Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, vendors and service providers such as Administrators and insurance providers, to build positive working relationships. Use data to identify risks, issues, and opportunities, and present this information in a concise, meaningful way. What You'll Need Extensive experience in financial services, preferably with Superannuation experience. Proven delivery of process design and transformation projects. A professional business leader who is resilient, engaging and passionate about motivating stakeholders to drive exceptional business and individual performance, and an ability to support cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams. Strong experience in business improvement and process management Excellent interpersonal skills which foster cooperation and teamwork in a close team environment. Working knowledge of risk management frameworks and an ability to link controls into process design. Strong partnership approach and ability to build effective internal business relationships. Excellent communication skills for all levels of the organisation - both written and verbal. High level facilitation skills and capable management of group dynamics that lead to the effective facilitation, guidance and negotiation of successful outcomes. A strategic thinker who can see how parts interact with the whole (i.e. big picture thinking, across people systems, process & data).
