Job Description As the Assistant Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and enhancing our market presence within the tool retail industry. Collaborating closely with the owner, you will implement strategic initiatives to identify new business opportunities, foster relationships with key stakeholders, and optimize sales performance in the tool industry, tool passion is a must Responsibilities Assist in developing and executing comprehensive business development strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential business opportunities. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, suppliers, and industry partners to foster long-term partnerships. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and cold calling. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns, product launches, and marketing materials to support sales efforts. Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to provide insights and recommendations for improvement. Coordinate with internal departments such as procurement, logistics, and customer service to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and customer satisfaction. Prepare reports, presentations, and proposals for senior management review. Qualifications: Tools knowledge Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred, but not required). Proven experience in business development, sales, or related role within the retail industry, preferably in tools or hardware. Strong understanding of sales techniques, business acumen, and market dynamics. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
