  • Are you a fantastic disability support worker? - Regular shifts including weekdays, weeknights, weekends, and sleepovers - $42.09 p/h weekdays after induction, plus salary packaging (pay less tax) Are you looking for a long-term position with a variety of shifts? We're looking for staff who are passionate about making a real difference in someone's life. Our client's roster is expanding, and we are seeking dedicated individuals to join our close-knit support team. Our client is a vibrant young man who is working towards a range of goals including everyday life skills, using behaviour support strategies, and working with family and professionals to increase independence in everyday activities. However, they also appreciate some home time and personal space. Our client may face challenging moments, and your ability to remain warm and supportive is crucial. You'll be trained in behavioural support plans (BSP) and strategies while understanding the importance of meaningful engagement. Our client is currently being supported in a 2:1 staffing environment where teamwork is essential. Support with personal care and being able to build a strong rapport with our client and family is critical. Our client enjoys horse riding, swimming and playing/watching sport. To do a great job, you'll need: - Minimum 3 years' experience supporting people with behaviours of concern - Understanding of Trauma informed care - Experience with key word signing/augmentative communication - Experience with personal care and household tasks - Full driver's license and be able to drive client to activities - Ability to problem solve and think outside of the box - Mature outlook on life - Enjoy outdoor activities and can be a positive role model About us We're InLife.
