Wesley College St Kilda Road campus is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Classroom Music Teacher for a full-time permanent position, commencing in Term 2, 2024. The successful applicant will be a capable and passionate classroom music educator who has experience in teaching middle and senior school classroom music, including VCE VET Music (Sound Production). A proven ability to lead small or large ensembles including and not limited to big band, concert band, choir, orchestra, and/or musical theatre productions, (symphony orchestra preferred but not essential). The applicant will have the capability to teach across a variety of traditional and/or contemporary instruments in individual and group settings. VIT registration is essential. The successful applicant will work collaboratively in a large team and contribute to a positive work culture. They are abreast of 21st century music pedagogy and continually seek to improve their teaching practice.
