The Role Applications are invited from outstanding, experienced, and passionate classroom teachers for a specialist role teaching French. Reporting to the Learning Area Leader of Languages, this will be an exciting opportunity for any prospective applicant to join our dynamic Language team, building a rich language curriculum for students at Caulfield Grammar School. Commencing in Term 2 of 2024 at our Caulfield Campus, this is a permanent part-time 0.8 FTE position teaching Years 7-9. Key Duties Review and assess students at the beginning of each program to provide a flexible program that caters for individual students. Deliver learning programs that demonstrate a research-based knowledge of how students learn. Evaluate personal teaching and learning programs including feedback from students and assessment data to inform planning. Design and deliver conceptually driven, student-centered learning activities using Formative Assessment Techniques. Model high expectations to enable a safe and supportive classroom culture. Provide reports within school standards and timelines. Actively participate in professional development activities. Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours. Skills and Experience Ability to create effective teaching and learning experiences. High written and oral fluency in French. Middle Years Programme experience is advantageous. International Baccalaureate experience is desirable Teaching qualifications. Hold a current VIT Registration. For further information please see Position Description.
