About the role: Join a well established content design team, bringing Origin's content strategy to life across digital, app, voice, social, brand communications and more. As a content designer, you'll work across a range of for UX content, content strategies, brand storytelling, 1:1 communication journeys and more. This is a 6-month contract opportunity with a focus on our digital service journeys with potential for a permanent position. Responsibilities: Work with our UX function on discovery, define and implementation of new user flows and online content experiences Use research methodologies alongside our in-house user research team to optimise content and increase customer happiness Develop informative online content and work with the SEO team to optimise that content for search engines Respond to business briefs to update content in the platforms we look after, including the web CMS, our 1:1 communications platforms and our online Help and Support centre Support the wider marketing function with initiatives that further our brand message and set Origin up as the leader in the energy industry Utilise content patterns and content modelling methodologies to create reusable content assets using Origin's existing style guides and content systems Work across a varied range of subject matter, such as energy, solar, LPG, electric vehicles and more. What you will bring? We're looking for An enthusiastic and ambitious content designer ready to take the next step in their career. You'll have a user-centred mindset and desire to make real change. We're passionate about making cleaner energy more accessible and affordable so that no customer is left behind on the energy transition, so a passion for social change is a big plus in our book. Proven content design and development experience. Experience in a UX / CX environment using design-centered thinking. Exposure to different content research methodologies to inform content decisions. Skills across process and design tools such as; CMS, Asana, Slack, Jira, Confluence, GSuite and Figma. Strong communication and relationship management skills. Customer advocacy and a pragmatic 'can-do' attitude. Desirable skills: Knowledge of how to personalize and optimise content based on segmentation and data insights highly regarded. Experience working closely with legal and compliance team in highly regulated environments Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Wordpress or web page builds highly desirable.
