You will build meaningful relationships with families, so each child has a strong sense of belonging that supports them to thrive. Your love of teaching will be reflected in how you mentor and guide educational practices in your room, and in your work with the broader centre leadership team to develop, review, and implement high-quality early learning programs, to ensure you're achieving optimal outcomes for our children. Key tasks include: Leading and inspiring other educators Working positively in a team environment Ensuring families, children and other educators have a sense of belonging Assess learning and effectively reflect Nurture and provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment for children Networking with relevant stakeholders in the local community Maintain a range of records as required under the National Quality Framework Demonstrated ability to provide and document a high-quality, play based early childhood program. A commitment to best practice and advocacy for children in our community. Skills and experience Bachelor of Early Childhood Education A minimum 12 months experience working as an Early Childhood Teacher in a long day care setting A strong understanding of children informed by early childhood developmental knowledge. Critically reflect on your own professional practice using evidence, including feedback from children, colleagues and families.
