  • Are you a fantastic disability support worker? - Regular shifts, flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends. - $42.09 p/h weekdays after induction, plus salary packaging (pay less tax) We're looking for committed, reliable disability support workers for our clients in Leopold. If you love disability support, cooking, gardening, and personal care, please read on About us We're InLife. A not-for-profit disability support provider that specialises in working with people with frequent and complex support needs, including 24/7 assistance. We build teams around every client, depending on each person's needs and preferences. We partner with people with any type of disability who want to live independently in the community (and we love to make that happen). That's why our assistants are so important. Our clients may have physical disability, acquired brain injury, neurological conditions, intellectual disability, or autism. We're honoured that many of our clients rely solely on InLife for their essential support needs. Nobody else. Just us. Shifts available (Monday- Sunday): - 8am-12pm - 4:30pm-6:30pm - 9:30pm-11:30pm (Thurs, Fri and Sat 10pm start) To do a great job, you'll need: - Good judgement and common sense, listening skills, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to our values - Enthusiasm and passion for supporting people with disabilities to live great lives - Experience in personal care (showering and dressing) and assistance with domestic duties - Experience supporting people with a physical disability including transfers/use of equipment and confidence in hoisting - Experience supporting clients with community access - Willing to put in time and energy to build rapport with your client - Open to activities supporting clients with their hobbies; e.g. gardening, cooking - Experience in mental health would be an advantage but not essential - Full Australian driver's license and willing to client's vehicle (training provided) - Commitment to working with a care team approach, including guidance from professionals.
