$58,000-$60,000 per year Commencing as soon as possible Smithfield location Flexible as a day shift role or 12.00pm-8.06pm We are currently seeking an experienced Transport Administrator to assist with the day to day operational needs of our client. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in transport and logistics and be able to demonstrate success as an administrator, be a competent problem solver and strong communicator while displaying strong accuracy and attention to detail. The purpose of this position is to Conduct debriefing & processing of drivers run sheet and paperwork. Assist and encourage the use of Company processes and procedures including Quality systems and risk management framework to ensure major operational standards are effective, efficient and in accordance with standards Main Responsibilities: Uphold and lead by the organisational Mission statement, company objectives and promote this to all staff under your supervision Debrief driver's manifests, discover & communicate any inefficiencies Process of driver manifests Ensure company systems are updated and kept with accuracy Ensure all instances of service failure or loss or damage to customer goods are actioned accordingly Daily scanning, filing, and archiving of relevant documents Provide support to any document requests internally and externally Understand the requirements of HACCP Respond and assist with any queries relating to responsibilities Provide support to reporting manager Liaise with team to ensure Pallets are managed within the Company's guidelines Provide administrative support to allocations office Discover operational inefficiencies and report to manager to improve service levels Skills and Competencies: Ability to build effective relationships, internally and externally Ability to deal difficult customers Excellent organisational skills and effective communication skills Ability meet deadlines and handle pressure / customer demands Self-managed, motivated, and energetic Ability interact with different levels of management Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills Computer skills desirable: ability to use the computer for transport related systems and Microsoft applications such as Office 365, Excel & Word Ability to work under pressure and still produce results Ability to be agile and flexible If you believe you meet the above criteria, apply now or email your updated resume to Hannah Limond at hlimondlpcommercial.com.au LP Consulting Services | https://www.labourpower.com/labourpower-consulting-services
