About your new role Are you a resilient and patient individual who thrives on making the biggest impacts and helping where it counts? We are currently seeking casual Disability Support Workers to support customers within our Brisbane South Region. You will be assisting customers aid in daily tasks and providing support through challenging behaviours. Our Disability Support Workers assist our valued customers as they shape and improve their lives. About our South Brisbane Team Our Forest Lake locations are operated by our amazing South Brisbane Region team that provide consistent assistance for our customers while promoting independence. All those that reside in our South Brisbane Region have the comfort of care in their own homes and our Supported Independent Living arrangements allow for a great community feel. Our team provide several activities to promote an exciting environment for motivation, mentoring and creativity. About you Demonstrate high levels of expertise in complex support environments including In-Home Supports Provide effective communication and maintain relationships with all key stakeholders Experience with PEG feeding, medication assistance, slide sheets and hoist use. You will have previous experience in complex and challenging behaviours Demonstrate the ability to prioritise workload and respond to emergent situations You have flexibility to work across a variety of shifts (Morning, Afternoon, Night and Overnight) To be considered for this exciting role, you should have: A current Open Driver's License. Full COVID-19 Vaccinations. NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (Yellow card). Working with Children (Blue card). Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
