Job Description: Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Secretary to join their friendly warm family run business. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in handling a wide range of administrative and legal secretarial tasks within the areas of Property, Wills and Estates, and Residential Conveyancing and Commercial. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment alongside talented legal professionals. Responsibilities: Provide secretarial support to the Principal and 1 Solicitor specializing in Property, Wills and Estates, and Res Conveyancing and some commercial. Draft and prepare legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and correspondence. Manage and maintain legal files and documents, ensuring accuracy and organization. Coordinate client meetings, appointments, and court appearances. Conduct legal research and gather relevant information as required. Assist with billing and invoicing processes. Handle incoming calls and correspondence, directing inquiries appropriately. Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure seamless workflow and client satisfaction. Uphold confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information. Requirements: MUST have proven experience as a Legal Secretary- Property, Res Conveyancing Wills and Estates & Commercial experience. Proficient in MS Office and LEAP legal software knowledge PEXA knowledge from start to finish Strong organizational & multitasking skills Meticulous attention to detail and diligence Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure. Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.
