About the role Exciting opportunity for a Diploma in Early Childhood Qualified Educator in an integrated service of preschool with After school Care attendance as well as a preschool Vacation Care program. Work with the Director and the team in providing a high quality care and education for 3-5 year old children. Hours would include Monday- Friday 9:54am-6pm during term time with variable full time hours during school holidays. This is a permanent full-time position. Duties Planning, implementing, documenting, evaluating and delivering a preschool program for 3 – 5 year old children. Overseeing 5 afternoons of the after school program for preschoolers. Developing a positive and supportive relationship with children. Helping to maintain a safe, engaging and compliant environment. Establishing and maintaining good relationships with families. Requirements Diploma Qualifications in Early Childhood Education Current First Aid and CPR Certificate Current Asthma and Anaphylaxis Completion of Identify & Respond to Children and Young People at Risk (CHCPRT001 or previous equivalent) Knowledge of the Education and Care National regulations and National Quality Framework Current and valid Working with Children Check clearance.
