Sydney Description The Warehouse Operations Manager will have the following responsibilities: Leading, overseeing and monitoring operational areas relating to customer service, warehousing, and distribution Ensuring the creation and deployment of effective strategies, systems and processes to enhance the logistical activities including Freight Forwarding (inward logistics), Warehousing and Distribution (outbound logistics) with a priority placed on practical, logistical and financial efficiency, as well as safety Gaining an in depth understanding of all operational systems & procedures allowing you to not only effectively manage but also support the customer service and dispatch teams as required Control and analyse warehouse inventory levels Manage inventory forecasting Ensure all processes are adhered to by warehouse team Weekly reporting of all warehouse key tasks and performance indicators Work across DC network to provide lowest cost and highest practical customer service levels Profile The successful candidate for the Warehouse Operations Manager will ideally have the following key skills and qualities: Previous experience leading a warehouse operation A background in distribution/3pl Proven experience of financial management and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet and labour management Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees Been involved in projects resulting in cost savings and improving efficiencies Job Offer $150,000 - $160,000 superannuation To apply online please click the 'Apply' button below.
